When I thought about this list, I decided to not rate them but just list the ones that I found the most entertaining. It didn't have to be a romantic couple either. So in no particular order...
Baek Hee Sung and Baek Hee Sung
"Flower of Evil"
This duo, one who was Hee Sung and one who just took his name, were a delight to watch spar and plot.
Se Ra and Gong Kyung
"Into the Ring"
Very charming. Good kissing scenes. Nana's adorable laugh and Sung Hoon playing Gong Kyung so shy.
Do San and Dal Mi
"Start-Up"
I will echo Dal Mi...I loved them just because but I have a really long review that details why.
Do Hee and Hae Kyung
"Dinner Mate"
One of the first more adult couples I experienced in a kdrama. Except for one little blip on De Hee they actually talked out their issues and learned from each other. Plus no silly games.
Ri Jung Hyuk and Yoon Se-Ri
"Crash Landing on You"
From the first time I saw the promo on Netflix, this drama's couple drew me in. This story was the first kdrama I began watching and it had all the things that draws me still to romantic kdramas- longing and sweet, tropey moments.
Oh Ji Hyuk and Kang Do Chang
"Good Detective"
Before I started watching I thought the cop team would be grouchy older cop trying to make life difficult for younger cop but that's not the way it went and for that I'm grateful. They had a grudging respect and support from day one that only cemented itself further as each episode progressed.
Seo Do Woon and Kyung Soo Jin
"Train"
I thought the actors worked really well today even if the characters stories ultimately was quite tragic. The lost love and the chance to get it back...over and over. Even though it wasn't your typical romance there were several scenes that would make my heart flutter.
Im Eun Seob and Mok Hae Won
"When the Weather is Fine"
Just a really warm, cozy couple that made you feel warm in your heart.
Cha Young Jin and Lee Sun Woo
"Nobody Knows"
If I had a category for a best non-couple they would win. He obviously liked her but the drama wasn't that kind of drama. I still have hopes that they still meet in the park with the kids in their lives and eventually will decide to date.
Lee Jung Hoon and Yeo Ha Jin
"Find Me in Your Memory"
Great actor chemistry. Just a really pretty couple even if the script was tropey. Had a great final kissing scene while "camping" in the living room.
